Workin on my Fitness

This morning, I woke up early (8:00 am, which is early to me…don’t judge) and went to the gym.

I haven’t been the best at keeping up a workout routine, and by that, I mean I haven’t been to the gym in five months. When I hurt my back, I went to use the pool fairly often, but as soon as my back healed I stopped going. When the weather was warmer, I started riding my bike more, taking trips downtown for things like Dig IN. But the problem was that those bike rides almost always involved boozing at the destination. I don’t think it really counts as working out if you’re consuming massive quantities of alcohol.

So today, I met my friend Gabby bright and early and we got our fitness on! One day in, and I’m feeling great. I even had a protein smoothie afterwards. I’m not saying it’s a resolution, but I’m going to attempt to go six days a week.  I’m energized and ready to go back tomorrow.

But for some reason, I feel as if this will be my attitude come next week:
