Today’s Think Kit prompt: Share the strangest experience of your year. Did you do something new or unexpected, see something out of the ordinary, or have a unique experience? What was so strange about it?
I think my strange experiences can be summed up best in the form of pictures. I think the best parts about life are the strange and unexpected incidents. You can really see a person’s true colors when they are in an unfamiliar situation…not that the following pictures should be a judge of that.
How about the night we were driving home from the Michael McDonald concert (yes, I went to that, and yes, it was AMAZING) through Broad Ripple and saw this sign:
Or how about when I bought $100 leggings that look like muscles…that I’m too frightened to wear in public:
Then there’s the night I went out wearing a unicorn head, and I must admit that this was not a one-time occurance, but this was the first time it was worn:
This speaks for itself. What can I say, I love my dog:
I bought a unique piece of art at ORANJE this year…a pill-poppin, cigarette-smoking, cocaine-nosed lady:
I even held a baby (if you know me, you know how strange that is)!
Alright 2014, bring it on…I’m ready for you!
